I have a more than passing interest in technology and fashion. (Seriously, I do.)
So, when I saw that there was a conference that examined the intersection of the two, I decided to attend.
The panels addressed three trends that I have observed in the marketplace:
- New fabrics and technologies (e.g., jeans made from low grade plastics)
- Online retail channels (e.g., how are retailers dealing with selling on mobile devices).
- How to make wearable technology that people actually want to wear (e.g., devices typically need to be plastic, but people want to wear metal).
